Another way of getting around Dubai is by taxi. You can either flag down passing vacant taxis, or call for one using the reservation service. At rush-hour it can be very difficult to flag down a taxi, be warned locals do not queue!
The taxis are very comfortable & clean. All have satellite navigation, and you only pay the fare displayed on the meter.

This service requires the customer only to register an address with the reservation & distribution section at Dubai Taxi.
